Allerød Kommune has undergone a major reorganization.

A system of internal contract management was introduced on January 1, 2001, in agreement with Allerød Kommune's foundation of culture and values.

Contracts are based on dialog and the form of organization is therefore described as "contract management". Contract management is a further development of decentralization and is based on the principle that the citizens. The needs of the citizens are the most important factors in task solution.
